Message	too much money unless it's REALLY clean. I paid $1800 for my salvage title '92 2+2 with just under 100k miles but it needed a fender and a headlight. I think the law probably varies from state to state as far as registration but I haven't had any problems getting insurance on any of my salvage title cars (I use progressive). Bottom line - I'd evaluate it as you would any other car and don't let the salvage title alone scare you away.
